How Do RHA Fillers Work?
RHA fillers are designed to mimic the natural hyaluronic acid found in your skin. Their unique crosslinking technology allows them to move with your facial expressions, providing a natural, dynamic result. They fill in wrinkles and folds, and add volume to areas that have lost fullness due to aging. Common treatment areas include:
-
Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
-
Marionette lines (lines from the corners of the mouth down)
-
Cheeks
-
Lips
-
Perioral lines (lines around the mouth)

How Long Do RHA Filler Injections Last?
The longevity of RHA fillers varies depending on the specific product used, the area treated, and individual metabolism. Generally, you can expect results to last between 9 to 15 months. Our expert injectors will assess your needs and recommend the appropriate RHA product for optimal, long-lasting results. Just like with other injectables, the amount of product and the strength of a persons metabolism will change how long the product last.

First-Time RHA Filler Patients
We understand that trying fillers for the first time can be exciting and a little nerve-wracking. We recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment within 14 days to review your results, address any questions, and ensure you're completely satisfied. We document your treatment meticulously, allowing for seamless follow-up care, even with different injectors within our practice.
To maintain your results, repeat treatments are necessary. Regular maintenance helps to preserve the youthful appearance and prevent the reappearance of deep wrinkles and volume loss.

How are RHA Fillers Performed?
RHA (Resilient Hyaluronic Acid) fillers are injected with a fine needle to restore volume and smooth wrinkles. We prioritize your comfort, using ice to minimize any potential discomfort. The procedure itself is typically quick and well-tolerated. To reduce the risk of bruising, it's advisable to avoid aspirin, blood thinners (including alcohol) for at least 10 days before your treatment. However, bruising can still occur, as individual responses vary.
